My wife (Hilary) and our dog (Jack) have recently come to live in Yateley. I have now retired from a mix of careers, starting as a submariner in the Royal Navy and working through teaching mathematics to management of technology in oil and construction industries, ending up as a Civil Servant in the Ministry of Justice. I have also run a small business specialising in computer graphics. My only minor claim to fame is that I think I am the only person to have cruised from Greenwich to the source of the Thames under solar power alone. I live to eat, but am trying to cut back a bit on the calories and keep up my 10,000 steps a day on fitbit! I became a Christian when working my gap year in Kenya (1967). My faith has often been challenged by life.
