Romans 15:14-33

What are you passionate about?

Romans 15:14-33

Paul had a passion. He wanted everyone everywhere to hear about Jesus. And back in his day, the whole world was a lot smaller in his perception – there were not only fewer people but huge parts of it just simply hadn’t been discovered yet. So he travelled all over the place, telling people everywhere all about Jesus and what Jesus had done to change and transform Paul’s own life. His life’s work is all about telling people about Jesus. And he did a pretty good job.

What is your passion? What is the thing that you enjoy the most, the thing that make you feel the most alive, and the thing that makes you feel as if you are doing what you were made to be? We have all been given gifts, it’s up to us to discover what they are and use them to the best we can.

We’re not all called to be full time church ministers or like Paul, but at the same time, we are called to share the Gospel with those around us. It doesn’t always look the same  – some of us are extroverts and like being loud, others are introverts and prefer to be bit quieter. It’s as the people God has made us to be that we are called to tell others about him and his love for them.

Lord God, help me live for you today. Help me have the passion Paul had for sharing your Gospel with others around me. Thank you that you have made me the person that I am. Amen.

Sharing the Gospel starts with prayer. Who would you like to see come to know Jesus? Pray for them today.
